This policy explains how you can return products purchased from Yum Yum Bubble Tea through yumyumbubbletea.co.za or our South African stores. We aim to keep things fair and follow South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. By buying from us, you agree to this policy.

When You Can Return Items
You can return items bought from our website or stores within 7 days of delivery or purchase if they’re unopened, unused, and in their original packaging. Due to health regulations, we can’t accept returns for opened bubble tea drinks, tapioca pearls, syrups, or custom kits unless they’re defective. 

Your Rights Under South African Law
South African law gives you extra rights:

  • For purchases through direct marketing (like email offers), you have 5 days to return for a full refund, and we’ll cover return shipping.
  • If an item isn’t suitable for its intended purpose (and we confirmed it would be), you can return it within 7 days.

How to Return an Item
Email us at info@yumyumbubbletea.co.za or call 081 595 9713 within 7 days with your order number and reason for return. We’ll send you return instructions. You’ll need to pay for return shipping unless the item is defective or we sent the wrong product.

Refunds
If approved, we’ll refund your purchase price (excluding original shipping fees) to your original payment method within 7 business days. Refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear, depending on your bank

Exchanges
We don’t offer direct exchanges due to the perishable nature of our products. To get a different item, please return your purchase and place a new order on yumyumbubbletea.co.za.

Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us within 2 days of delivery at info@yumyumbubbletea.co.za with photos of the issue. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund and cover return shipping.
